4 large whole wheat tortillas

1 cup cooked and seasoned ground turkey (or your choice of protein)

1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 ripe avocado, sliced

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: hot sauce for added heat

Prepare the Filling: In a large skillet, heat the cooked ground turkey over medium heat. Add black beans, corn, chili powder, cumin, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and cook for about 5 minutes until heated through.

    Make the Veggie Mixture: In a separate bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced avocado, and chopped cilantro. Drizzle a little lime juice over the veggies and toss gently to combine.

      Assemble the Wraps: Lay a whole wheat tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon a generous amount of the turkey filling onto the center of the tortilla, followed by a handful of the crunchy veggie mixture. Sprinkle some shredded cheese on top.
