Ingredients

4 cups of seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 cup of feta cheese, crumbled

1 cup of fresh mint leaves, gently washed and dried

2 tablespoons of balsamic glaze

1 tablespoon of olive oil

Pinch of salt and black pepper

12 small skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Begin by cutting the watermelon into 1-inch cubes and crumbling the feta cheese, setting both aside.

Assemble Skewers: Take a skewer and thread one cube of watermelon, then add a mint leaf, followed by a piece of feta cheese. Repeat this process until the skewer is filled, leaving a bit of space at the ends for easy handling. Aim for 2-3 watermelon cubes, 2 mint leaves, and 2-3 cheese pieces per skewer.

Season the Skewers: Once all the skewers are prepared, drizzle the olive oil over them and sprinkle lightly with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to enhance the flavors.

Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze: Just before serving, drizzle the balsamic glaze over the skewers for a touch of sweetness and acidity that complements the watermelon and feta.

Chill and Serve: If not serving immediately, refrigerate the skewers for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
