1 pre-made pie crust (9 inches)

1 cup sweet corn kernels (fresh or frozen)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

4 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions (scallions)

1 tablespoon fresh chives (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the Pie Crust: Place the pre-made pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Crimp the edges if desired. Prick the bottom with a fork to avoid bubbling. Pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove it from the oven and set aside.

      Mix the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined. Add in the salt, black pepper, and paprika, mixing until fully incorporated.

        Add the Corn and Cheese: Stir in the sweet corn, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions into the egg mixture. Make sure the corn is evenly distributed.
