Ingredients

For the Cake:

1 box of yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup vegetable oil

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups fresh strawberries, diced

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

      Prepare the Cake Batter:

        - In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth and creamy.

          Add Strawberries:

            - Gently fold in the diced strawberries into the cake batter, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

              Make the Cinnamon Swirl:

                - In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.

                  Layer the Cake:

                    - Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Pour the remaining cake batter on top and then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the surface.

                      Create the Swirl:

                        - Using a knife, gently swirl the batter to create a marbled effect, being careful not to mix it too much.

                          Bake:

                            - Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

                              Prepare the Glaze:

                                - While the cake is cooling, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth. Adjust the milk to get your desired glaze consistency.

                                  Glaze the Cake:

                                    - Once the cake has cooled for about 10-15 minutes, drizzle the glaze over the warm cake using a spoon or a whisk.

                                      Serve:

                                        - Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing. Enjoy your Strawberry Honeybun Cake warm or at room temperature!
