Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced

½ cup rolled oats

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional for added nutrition)

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients: Start by thoroughly washing the strawberries and hulling them. Slice both the strawberries and banana for easy blending.

Blend: In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries, banana, rolled oats, almond milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), chia seeds, vanilla extract, and a handful of ice cubes if desired.

Pulse and Blend: Secure the lid on the blender and pulse for a few seconds to combine all ingredients. Then blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Taste and Adjust: Stop the blender and taste the smoothie. If you'd like it a bit sweeter, add a bit more honey or maple syrup and blend again.

Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses or bowls. If you want, top with extra sliced strawberries, banana slices, or a sprinkle of oats for an appealing presentation.

Enjoy: Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
