Ingredients

4 (6 oz.) salmon fillets, skin-on

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro or green onions, chopped for garnish (optional)

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Preheat your Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Sear the Salmon: Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, remove the salmon from the marinade (reserving the marinade for later) and season with salt and pepper. Place the fillets skin-side down in the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes, until the skin is crispy.

Glaze the Salmon: Carefully flip the salmon fillets over and pour the reserved marinade over the top. Allow the glaze to simmer for 1-2 minutes, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.

Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions, if desired, and serve the salmon with lime wedges on the side for squeezing.
