1 large cucumber, sliced into 1-inch thick rounds

1 can (5 oz) of good-quality tuna, drained

2 tbsp mayonnaise (preferably Japanese mayo for creaminess)

1 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

1 green onion, finely chopped

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 tsp lime juice

Sesame seeds for garnish

Red pepper flakes for additional heat (optional)

Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Start by preparing the cucumber: Wash the cucumber well and slice it into thick, 1-inch rounds, discarding the ends. Pat the rounds dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

    In a medium mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onion, grated ginger, and lime juice. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Taste the mixture and adjust the sriracha for spice and the soy sauce for saltiness, if needed.

      On each cucumber slice, generously spoon the spicy tuna mixture, creating a small mound on top.

        For a beautiful finish, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of each tuna mound. If desired, add a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat.

          Optionally, garnish each cucumber bite with a small cilantro leaf for added freshness and visual appeal.
