Ingredients

1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

3 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 bag (16 oz) fettuccine pasta

Olive oil for cooking

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. In a skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Sear the chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side until lightly browned. This step is optional but enhances flavor.

Layer Ingredients in Slow Cooker: Transfer the seared chicken to the slow cooker. Add the minced garlic and pour in the heavy cream, ensuring the chicken is submerged.

Cook: Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and is tender enough to shred.

Add Broccoli: About 30 minutes before serving, add the broccoli florets to the slow cooker. Stir gently to combine and allow them to steam in the creamy sauce.

Cook the Pasta: Prepare fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Shred the Chicken: Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred it into bite-sized pieces in the slow cooker. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.

Combine: Fold the cooked fettuccine into the slow cooker mixture, ensuring each strand is coated with the creamy Alfredo sauce.

Serve: Spoon generous portions onto plates and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Enjoy your delicious, creamy chicken Alfredo with broccoli!
