Ingredients

1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 cup broccoli florets

1 medium carrot, julienned

3 green onions, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, grated

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine sliced sirloin, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the beef evenly and let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the veggies.

Prep the Veggies: Wash and slice the bell peppers, julienne the carrot, and chop the green onions. Separate the garlic and ginger for easier cooking.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Stir-Fry the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the hot skillet in a single layer. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until the beef is browned and just cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Stir in the broccoli, bell peppers, and carrot. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Combine and Flavor: Return the beef to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Drizzle with sesame oil and toss everything together, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through and well mixed.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles for a complete meal.
