Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz corned beef, thinly sliced

8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced

1 cup sauerkraut, drained and squeezed dry

1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing

1 tbsp prepared mustard (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Caraway seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, combine the drained sauerkraut, corned beef, Swiss cheese, Thousand Island dressing, and mustard (if using). Mix until well combined.

Construct the Rolls: Roll out the crescent dough on a flat surface, and separate it into individual triangles along the perforated lines. For a sturdier roll, pinch the perforations to seal them.

Assemble the Rolls: Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end toward the point, wrapping it around the filling. Curve the ends to form a crescent shape and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg for a golden finish. If desired, sprinkle some caraway seeds on top for added flavor.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed.

Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. These are delicious warm, but can also be enjoyed at room temperature!
