2 large buttery croissants

1 large ripe pear, thinly sliced

4 ounces creamy Brie cheese, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Handful of arugula or spinach (for added freshness)

2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans (for crunch, optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Pears: In a small bowl, toss the thinly sliced pears with honey, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. Set aside for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

    Slice the Croissants: Carefully cut the croissants in half horizontally, ensuring you don’t slice all the way through so that they remain connected at one side.

      Layer the Ingredients: On the bottom half of each croissant, layer the slices of Brie cheese, followed by a generous helping of the honey-lemon pears.

        Add Fresh Greens: Top the pears with the arugula or spinach for a burst of freshness.
