Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup jelly (your choice of flavor; grape or strawberry works great)

1/2 cup crushed peanuts (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, and honey or maple syrup. Use a whisk or spatula to blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. The mixture should be thick and slightly sticky.

Layer the Mixture: Pour about half of the peanut butter mixture into the prepared baking pan, pressing down evenly with a spatula to create the bottom layer.

Add Jelly: Gently spoon the jelly over the bottom layer, spreading it evenly. You can use a spoon or spatula to avoid tearing the layer below.

Top Layer: Take the remaining peanut butter mixture and crumble it over the jelly layer, ensuring that it covers the jelly as evenly as possible. If you're using crushed peanuts, sprinkle them on top for added crunch.

Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden brown. The center may look slightly soft; it will firm up as it cools.

Cool & Slice: Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool in the pan for at least 10-15 minutes. This will make them easier to cut. Once cool, lift them out using the parchment paper and slice them into bars of your desired size.

Serve: Enjoy your Peanut Butter and Jelly Bliss Bars warm or at room temperature. They can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
