Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed

3 tablespoons honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium recommended)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare Honey Garlic Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and grated ginger (if using). Set aside.

Arrange Ingredients: On a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil, spread out the trimmed asparagus in a single layer. Drizzle with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Make room for the salmon fillets in the center.

Season Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet. Season the tops with salt and pepper.

Glaze the Salmon: Brush the honey garlic sauce generously over the salmon fillets, reserving some for later.

Bake: Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in the center. The asparagus should also be tender but still crisp.

Broil for a Finish: If you want a caramelized finish, switch the oven to broil and broil the salmon and asparagus for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye on it to prevent burning.

Serve: Once cooked, remove from the oven and drizzle any remaining honey garlic sauce over the salmon. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
