1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling)

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken pieces and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for enhanced flavor).

    Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully.
