Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 package (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Optional: ketchup or mustard for dipping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Meat Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, breadcrumbs, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Form the Cheese Filling: Using your hands, take small portions of the meat mixture (about 1.5 tablespoons each) and flatten them in the palm of your hand. Place a tablespoon of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses in the center, then mold the meat around the cheese to create a ball. Make sure the cheese is fully enclosed. Repeat until all the meat is used.

Prepare the Pizza Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into squares, approximately 4 inches each.

Wrap the Meatballs: Place one meatball in the center of each dough square. Gather the edges of the dough to encase the meatball completely, pinching to seal well. Ensure there are no openings to prevent cheese from leaking out.

Brush and Season: Arrange the filled dough bombs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter, then sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning for added flavor.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Ensure the internal temperature of the meat reaches 160°F (71°C).

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve warm, alongside ketchup or mustard for dipping.
