Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups fresh blackberries (or frozen, thawed)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

A pinch of salt

1 cup granola (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Prepare the Blackberry Swirl: In a blender or food processor, combine the blackberries, lemon juice, and a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary. Set aside.

Mix the Yogurt Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, remaining honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until smooth and evenly mixed.

Combine Yogurt and Blackberry Mixture: Pour half of the yogurt mixture into a parchment-lined square baking dish (9x9 inches). Spread it evenly. Then, drizzle half of the blackberry mixture over the yogurt layer. Use a skewer or knife to swirl the blackberry puree gently into the yogurt, creating a marbled effect.

Layer and Swirl: Pour the remaining yogurt mixture over the first layer and repeat with the remaining blackberry mixture. Swirl again to achieve a nice pattern.

Freeze: Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until the yogurt is firm.

Cut and Serve: Once frozen, remove the squares from the dish using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and, if desired, sprinkle with granola before serving for an added crunch.

Store: If you have any leftovers, store the squares in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one month.
