To achieve the perfect texture and flavor, it is essential to allow your Frozen Strawberry Kiwi Yogurt Bites enough time to freeze thoroughly. For optimal results, freeze them for at least 4 to 6 hours. This duration ensures that the yogurt becomes firm, allowing for easy removal from the tray and a satisfying bite when enjoyed. If you plan on making these treats ahead of time, consider freezing them overnight. This not only solidifies them completely but also enhances their flavor as the ingredients meld together beautifully during the extended freezing period.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 large kiwi, peeled and diced

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Mini silicone molds or ice cube trays

Instructions

Prepare the Fruits: In a small bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and diced kiwi. Set aside.

Mix the Yogurt: In another mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well blended and creamy.

      Layer the Ingredients:

        - Spoon about a teaspoon of the yogurt mixture into each compartment of your silicone molds or ice cube trays.

          - Add a layer of the strawberry and kiwi mixture on top of the yogurt.

            - Finally, add another layer of yogurt over the fruit until the molds are almost full, leaving a little space at the top for expansion while freezing.

Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the yogurt bites from the molds. If they are difficult to release, run warm water over the back of the molds for a few seconds to loosen them.

Enjoy: Serve immediately or store the bites in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy as a refreshing snack or a healthy dessert!
