Ingredients

2 cups fresh cantaloupe, cubed

1 ripe banana, frozen

1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1 cup coconut water (or regular water)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish

Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker texture)

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by washing the cantaloupe. Cut it in half, remove the seeds, and scoop out the flesh to cube it evenly. If you don’t have a frozen banana, you can freeze a ripe banana ahead of time to achieve a creamy texture.

Blend the Base: In a blender, combine the cubed cantaloupe and the frozen banana. Add the Greek yogurt, coconut water, and honey (if using).

Add Flavor: Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon for an added warmth and layer of flavor. Toss in the fresh mint leaves for a refreshing herbal note.

Blending Time: Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and smooth. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again until smooth.

Taste and Adjust: Taste your smoothie; if you’d like it sweeter, add more honey or maple syrup and blend again briefly.

Serve and Garnish: Pour the smoothie into glasses. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint on top, and if desired, a slice of cantaloupe on the rim of the glass for decoration.

Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing, revitalizing taste of summer!
