Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup fig jam

1 cup fresh arugula

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon balsamic glaze (for drizzling)

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats up.

Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a floured pizza peel if using a pizza stone.

Spread the Fig Jam: Evenly spread the fig jam over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Add the Cheeses: Dollop the ricotta cheese over the fig jam. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and crumbled goat cheese on top.

Season and Drizzle: Lightly season the pizza with salt and pepper. If you enjoy a bit of extra flavor, drizzle olive oil over the top.

Bake the Pizza: Carefully slide the pizza into the preheated oven (or onto the pizza stone). Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Add Arugula: Once out of the oven, top the hot pizza with fresh arugula. The heat from the pizza will slightly wilt the arugula, adding freshness.

Finish with Balsamic Glaze: Drizzle balsamic glaze over the pizza for an added depth of flavor.

Garnish and Serve: If desired, add fresh basil leaves for garnish before slicing. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
