Ingredients

1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup crushed Oreos (for topping)

A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Prep the Base: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal. In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter, mixing until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form an even crust.

Make the Fudge Layer: In a medium saucepan, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine: Pour the warm fudge mixture over the Oreo crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Drizzle the hot fudge sauce on top and use a toothpick or a knife to swirl it into the fudge layer for a marbled effect.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle the additional crushed Oreos over the top, followed by a light sprinkle of sea salt to enhance the flavors.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft. Remove from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes.

Chill: Transfer the dish to the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours to firm up properly. This will make cutting easier and the fudge squares more enjoyable to bite into.

Serve: Once chilled, lift the parchment paper out of the dish and place it on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, cut the fudge into squares of your desired size.

Enjoy: Serve the decadent Oreo fudge squares chilled or at room temperature. They are perfect for parties, dessert tables, or simply as an indulgent treat!
