Ingredients

1 lb gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

Cook the Gnocchi: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions (usually until they float to the surface). Drain and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.

Add Cream: Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Incorporate Cheese: Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Add garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper, stirring to incorporate.

Combine Gnocchi and Sauce: Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and gently toss to coat them evenly with the creamy sauce. Allow it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the gnocchi to soak up some of the flavors.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy your creamy garlic Parmesan gnocchi warm!
