Creamy Buffalo Chicken Pasta Bake

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup buffalo wing sauce (adjust to taste)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, plus more for topping

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

      Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

        Make the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the buffalo wing sauce and heavy cream. Stir until smooth. Adjust the heat level by adding more or less buffalo sauce according to your preference.

          Combine Ingredients: In the skillet with the cooked chicken, add the drained pasta and sauce mixture. Stir well to coat the pasta and chicken evenly with the sauce. Gently fold in the shredded mozzarella and blue cheese (if using).

            Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the creamy buffalo chicken pasta into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle additional mozzarella on top for an extra cheesy crust.

              Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
