Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

8 oz large shell pasta

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup fresh spinach (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the shell pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Sauté Vegetables: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until the onion is translucent and fragrant.

Make the Sauce: Stir in the beef broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, dried Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked shell pasta to the skillet, stirring to coat the shells evenly in the creamy mixture. If using, add the fresh spinach now and stir until wilted.

Add Cheese: Gradually sprinkle in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serve and Garnish: Divide creamy beef and shells into serving bowls. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and an added fresh flavor. Enjoy!
