Ingredients

1 lb (450g) chicken tenders

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

1/2 cup crispy bacon, crumbled

1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

2 large eggs, beaten

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Cooking spray or olive oil, for frying

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if you prefer baking your tenders. If frying, this step can be skipped.

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and crumbled bacon. Stir until well mixed and creamy.

Prep Chicken: Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper on both sides.

Fill the Tenders: Take a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture and carefully spread it along the center of each chicken tender. Roll them up tightly and secure each with a toothpick if desired.

Set Up Breading Station: Set up a three-station breading area: one with the flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with Panko breadcrumbs.

Bread the Tenders: Dredge each filled chicken tender in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat generously with Panko breadcrumbs, ensuring an even coating.

              Cook the Tenders:

                - Oven Option: Place the tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Lightly spray them with cooking spray and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).

                  - Frying Option: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil. Fry the tenders on each side for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the toothpicks if used, and place the tenders on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions.

Enjoy: Serve your Crack Chicken Tenders warm, with your favorite dipping sauce on the side, like ranch or honey mustard.
