Ingredients

1 cup of large pretzel rods (about 10-12 rods)

1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon of coconut oil (optional, for smooth melting)

1/2 cup of crushed nuts (walnuts, almonds, or peanuts)

1/2 cup of colorful sprinkles (rainbow, chocolate, or seasonal)

1/2 cup of shredded coconut (optional)

Parchment paper (for cooling)

Instructions

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Dip the Pretzel Rods: Take a pretzel rod and dip it into the melted chocolate, allowing it to be coated halfway up the rod. Gently tap the pretzel on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.

Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the crushed nuts, colorful sprinkles, or shredded coconut over the chocolate-dipped area. Make sure to coat evenly, using your hands to press lightly if needed.

Cool the Pretzel Rods: Place the decorated pretzel rods on a piece of parchment paper to cool and set. Repeat this process for all pretzel rods, melting more chocolate if necessary.

Chill for Firmness: Once all the pretzel rods are dipped and decorated, place them in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely hardened.

Serve & Enjoy: Once set, remove the pretzel rods from the refrigerator and serve them on a festive plate, or package them in cellophane bags tied with a ribbon for a delightful homemade gift!
