Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup mini marshmallows

1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (for topping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a little overhang to make removing the bars easier later.

Make the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.

Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and mini marshmallows, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Transfer to Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the crushed graham crackers on top for added crunch and flavor.

Bake: Bake the bars in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (but not wet batter).

Cool and Cut: Allow the bars to cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes. Once cooled, use the parchment overhang to lift the bars out of the pan, cut into squares, and serve.

Enjoy: These bars are best enjoyed slightly warm, allowing the chocolate and marshmallows to be extra gooey. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
