Ingredients

1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup pepperoni slices

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (for egg wash)

Cooking spray or parchment paper (for baking)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it lightly with cooking spray.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, unroll the refrigerated pizza dough. Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut the dough into 2-inch squares.

      Assemble the Pizza Bombs:

        - Place 1-2 slices of pepperoni in the center of each dough square.

          - Add about a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the pepperoni.

            - For extra flavor, sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and a dash of garlic powder on top of the cheese. For a spicy kick, you can also add crushed red pepper flakes.

Seal the Bombs: Gather the corners of the dough squares and pinch them together to seal the filling inside. Make sure the edges are tightly sealed to prevent the cheese from ooze out during baking.

Egg Wash: In a small bowl, beat the egg. Brush the top of each pizza bomb with the egg wash to give them a golden-brown color when baked.

Drizzle with Olive Oil: Drizzle remaining olive oil over the pizza bombs for extra crispiness and flavor.

Bake: Place the assembled pizza bombs on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

Serve: Allow the pizza bombs to cool slightly before serving. Serve them warm alongside marinara sauce for dipping!
