For the Base:

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup melted butter

For the Caramel Layer:

1 cup granulated sugar

6 tbsp unsalted butter

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Topping:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tbsp coconut oil (or butter)

A pinch of flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Base:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, rolled oats, cocoa powder, and brown sugar. Stir in the melted butter until everything is well combined.

        - Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch baking dish using a spatula. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.

          Make the Caramel Layer:

            - In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the granulated sugar and butter. Stir continuously until the mixture is melted and bubbly.

              - Gradually whisk in the heavy cream until smooth and let the mixture boil for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the sea salt and vanilla extract.

                - Pour the caramel over the cooled base, spreading it evenly. Let it sit at room temperature or refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.

                  Prepare the Chocolate Topping:

                    - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until melted and smooth.

                      - Pour the melted chocolate over the set caramel layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top for an extra flavor boost.

                        Chill and Serve:
