Instructions

Make the Brownies:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

      - In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.

        - Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.

          - In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

            - Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely.

              Prepare the Cheesecake Layer:

                - In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

                  - In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and creamy.

                    Make the Caramel Sauce:

                      - In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook the granulated sugar, stirring constantly until it melts into a golden amber color.

                        - Carefully add the cubed butter and stir until melted. Remove from heat and slowly whisk in the heavy cream until smooth. If desired, add sea salt to taste. Allow to cool slightly.

                          Assemble the Trifle:

                            - Cut the cooled brownies into bite-sized cubes.

                              - In a large trifle bowl or individual cups, layer the ingredients as follows: start with a layer of brownie cubes, then a layer of the cheesecake mixture, followed by a drizzle of caramel sauce and a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers.

                                - Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the bowl or cups, finishing with a cheesecake layer, a drizzle of caramel, and a dollop of whipped cream.

                                  Chill and Serve:

                                    - Cover the trifle and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled and enjoy the decadent layers!
