Ingredients

1 pint cherry tomatoes

8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)

Fresh basil leaves

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 cup balsamic glaze (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

12 wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

Prep Your Ingredients: Wash the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Drain the mozzarella balls and pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Assemble the Skewers: On each skewer, thread one cherry tomato, followed by a basil leaf, then a mozzarella ball. Repeat this pattern until you fill the skewer, leaving some space at each end for handling.

Season: Once the skewers are assembled, drizzle them with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.

Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze: Just before serving, generously drizzle the skewers with balsamic glaze for a beautiful finish. If you want to elevate the presentation, you can also use a squeeze bottle to create a decorative pattern.

Serve: Arrange the skewers on a serving platter. Enjoy them fresh as an appetizer or a light snack!
