Ingredients
  

For the Crust:

1 ½ cups crushed graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

¼ cup granulated sugar

For the Filling:

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip)

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 Butterfinger bars, crushed

For the Topping:

Extra crushed Butterfinger bars for garnish

Drizzle of chocolate sauce (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Crust:

    - In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are well coated.

      - Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form a crust. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool completely.

        Make the Filling:

          - In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.

            - Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to mix until well blended.

              - Fold in the whipped topping and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

                - Gently fold in the crushed Butterfinger bars, reserving a handful for garnish.

                  Fill the Crust:

                    - Pour the Butterfinger filling into the cooled pie crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

                      - Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. (Overnight is even better!)

                        Serve:

                          - Once the pie is set, remove it from the refrigerator. Before serving, sprinkle the reserved crushed Butterfinger bars over the top.

                            - Drizzle with chocolate sauce if desired.
