Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla or plain)

2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup granola (your choice of flavor)

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for chocolate melting)

Toppings (optional): shredded coconut, crushed nuts, mini chocolate chips

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them into 1-inch thick rounds. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.

Make the Yogurt Coating: In a medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until well combined.

Coat the Banana Rounds: Using a spoon, dip each banana slice into the yogurt mixture, fully coating them. Gently shake off any excess yogurt and return the coated slices to the baking sheet.

Add Granola: Sprinkle about a teaspoon of granola onto each yogurt-coated banana slice, pressing it lightly to ensure it sticks.

Optional Chocolate Dip: If you choose to add chocolate, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Drizzle or dip each yogurt-coated banana slice in the melted chocolate and return to the baking sheet.

Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the banana bites for at least 2 hours or until completely solid.

Serve: Once frozen, remove the banana bites from the baking sheet. You can serve them immediately or transfer them to an airtight container for longer storage. These treats can be enjoyed straight from the freezer!
