Ingredients

12 slider buns (Hawaiian style recommended)

12 slices of deli ham

12 slices of Swiss or cheddar cheese

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

      Assemble the Sliders:

        - Cut the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected.

          - Place the bottom half of the buns in the prepared baking dish.

            - Layer sliced ham evenly over the bottom buns, followed by the cheese slices.

              - Place the top halves of the buns on top of the cheese.

                Make the Sauce:

                  - In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and poppy seeds. Whisk until well combined and smooth.

Brush the Sauce: Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the tops of the buns, ensuring each one is coated. Use a basting brush if necessary for even coverage. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.

Bake the Sliders: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Serve: Once out of the oven, allow the sliders to cool for a few minutes. Cut along the lines between the buns and serve warm. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
