1 pound chicken tenderloins

1 cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 large eggs, beaten

Cooking spray or olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Add the chicken tenderloins and ensure they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight for extra flavor.

    Prepare Breading Station: Set up three separate shallow dishes; one with flour, the second with beaten eggs, and the third with the panko breadcrumbs.

      Bread the Chicken: Remove chicken from the marinade, letting excess liquid drip off. Dredge each tenderloin in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing down gently to adhere.

        Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. This will help achieve optimal crispiness.

          Air Fry the Tenders: Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or lightly brush with olive oil. Place breaded chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket (you may need to do this in batches). Lightly spray the tops of the tenders with cooking spray.

            Cook: Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
