1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces (any color)

1 medium red onion, cut into wedges

Skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Add the cubed chicken and mix until well-coated. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator for the best flavor.

    Prepare Skewers: After marinating, thread the chicken cubes onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of bell pepper and onion to add color and crunch.

      Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes while you finish preparing your skewers.

        Cook the Skewers: Place the skewers in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t touch each other for even cooking. Cook at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

          Check for Doneness: Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). If necessary, add an extra couple of minutes cooking time.

            Serve: Carefully remove the skewers from the air fryer (they will be hot!). Let them rest for a few minutes before serving. These skewers are delightful served over rice or alongside a fresh salad.
